There are several health conditions for which the health management controller can monitor. The
conditions fall roughly into four categories: memory leaks, hung servers, preventative restarts, and storm drains.

Tip: It is recommended that you create high-level policies in supervised mode to widely monitor for
health conditions. Once a problem has been identified in a particular application,
server members can have more specific health policies applied to them in automatic mode to maintain
availability until the issue can be fully resolved.

Once health policies have been defined,
the health monitoring controller determines
how often health policies are verified to monitor for problems, when and how servers can
be restarted, and in what time periods are server restarts prohibited.
