Change log and trace mode settings

Use this page to choose the mode your system uses for logging and tracing.

Supported configurations: You can only access this page when the server is configured to use HPEL log and trace mode.sptcfg

To view this administrative console page, click Troubleshooting > Logs and trace > server_name > Change log and trace mode.

Cancel

Use the Cancel button to keep the server in HPEL log and trace mode.

Use the Switch to Basic Mode button to change the log and trace mode for the server to basic.

Important: Switching the server to basic log and trace mode requires a server restart.

Use the Switch to Traditional Mode button to change the log and trace mode for the server to traditional.

Important: Switching the server to traditional log and trace mode requires a server restart.
